Great Cocktail Party, Great Golf, Great Week!

I don’t think there’s a better week than this week. We kicked things off Sunday night with the Robby Albarado Foundation cocktail party and auction. We had a great turnout and it was good to see so many familiar faces and friends. We’re tallying what was raised, but we’re almost certain we topped last year’s party. We’ll be adding pictures to the website in the next week or so. I really want to thank everyone who was a part of it as this Foundation is about ALL of us who are making a difference in this community.

This past Monday, we held the Foundation’s second annual golf classic. A beautiful day blessed our golfers and celebrities. Again, many people made this golf classic another special event! The money raised from the golf classic will support many needy people in the Louisville area — and we could not do it without the support of our friends.

And this Saturday is the crowning jewel, the Kentucky Derby. I’ll be aboard Flying Private considered an early long-shot, but I really like this horse. Tough draw on the outside, but he comes from great bloodlines and D. Wayne Lukas certianly knows how to get a horse ready for Derby. It should be another great Derby and I just hope everyone has a safe trip and no jocks or horses get hurt.

Finally, from everyone in our Foundation, thank you for helping us make a difference! It’s amazing what you can achieve when you dream big!
